Happy Birthday
The Brattleboro, VT scene seems to be constantly rearranging itself into ever more interesting permutations as the Feathers family branches out into a number of different musical directions. Happy Birthday is the latest and they've just made a ridiculously good half hour masterpiece on Sub Pop. The band's made up of Kyle (Witch, King Tuff, Feathers) Chris (Chirs Weisman & Greg Davis duo) and Ruth (Feathers) and they play an unabashedly charming mix of glam rock and faux (or no?) teenage angst.

Golden Girls
Worcester based youngsters with lots of energy, great guitar and yeah....just great stuff. ya know?

Another group from Brattleboro, featuring Zach and Sarah, the incredible pianist and singer from the band Sord, with back up band.

White Crime
Continuing the Southern VT v.s. Central MA trend with this energetic punk duo from Worcester featuring Sam Gas Can.
